she is the ripple that catches your eye
she is the light that dances beneath the water
she is beauty that calls you to the shore
to trail your fingers
to make you long for more
as you sit there dreaming
you see her lovely face
her smile is enchanting
the urge to wade in is strong
her hand breaks the surface
to take you were you long
to discover and explore
all you have ever dreamed
all it takes is just one kiss
he reaches down and leans
their lips met through the water
he sinks down below the waves
a new world is open to eyes
he will never be the same
he lived there for just a moment
time had no effect
he flowed with the water
almost did he forget
the world above the waves
the warmth of the light
where he longed to be again

the kiss worked both ways
she could come to his world
for they found love beneath the waves
now they shared both worlds
they lived their lives
on land and water
exploring together, hand in hand
